This piece represents the intensity of anxiety and how it feels to me.
The wings represent the act of wanting to escape this feeling. Anxiety is something that I was diagnosed with in 2019 and for me, it can feel so intense with my intrusive thoughts feeling so real. The hair wrapping around her represents my intrusive thoughts and how much they can hold me back from experiencing and recognizing the beautiful things in my life which is represented by the flowers around her.
